Elfsborg-Roma 1-0. Monza It takes balls.

Another depressing match for Roma. The opponent required commitment and strong players. Instead we underestimated them with many reserves on the pitch. The defeat was the logical consequence. The substitutions were late. Of the substitutions, only Pellegrini did well.

Il simbolo di Bartolomeo Colleoni.

The feeling is that we have put the Europa League on the back burner to work for the Champions League zone in the league. But that's how the team gets used to the submissive attitude. While the balls are needed.

In Serie A we are in the middle of the table. We have to continue to grind out points. The opponent is not impossible. Monza is currently last. But if we face them with flaccid balls, they will eat us too.

Nesta lines up Monza with the 3421 where they try to build from the back with the ball on the ground.

If they are in trouble, they turn to Pessina, with Carboni standing up to take a man away, while Izzo and Pablo Mari spread out.

Alternatively, they throw long to Djuric, who is very good with his head, also for shooting.

In the defensive phase they place themselves with the 532 or 541. Here Daniele Maldini is taller than Caprari, but then Nesta will ask him to play as the fourth midfielder on Inter's Carlos Augusto.
On corners they zone in a fundamentalist way.
Qui sempre a zona integralista con il completo nero a Napoli.

In the center of Monza is the Duomo commissioned by the Lombard Queen Teodolinda. The Lombards not only gave their name to the region of Lombardy, but also dominated this territory for a long time.

From the first incursions into the Roman Empire, through Alboin's famous "Drink Rosmunda from your father's skull", to the end decreed by Charlemagne, King of the Franks, who chose the name of Holy Roman Empire, which seems like a mockery of fate, but also a serious vindication of what the name of Rome has always meant and will always mean.

The Romans, then the Lombards and then the Holy Roman Empire came to reign after bloody wars, but then preserved peace in Lombardy. The first principle of well-being of a people is peace.

In the globalized world, in this country-world that is the current modern era, the war in Lebanon and the crisis between Israel and Iran is going to negatively influence the world markets, through the overvaluation of oil.

Israel’s bellicose intentions against Iran (one of the world’s largest oil exporters) are endangering Iran’s oil supply and thus pushing up the price of black gold, causing a financial and consequently economic crisis.

In this situation, if the US has neglected the opinion of university students against the war, it cannot ignore the possible decline of the financial world and therefore of the economic world. Peace means stability and stability means financial and economic harmony and therefore well-being.

A great teacher of peace was Silvano Scaiola, a great friend of my father. As a trade unionist for FIM-CISL, he mainly dealt with the reconversion of the war industry. A very honorable action. A good man. He passed away on September 7. It was my duty to remember such an important person for Italian trade unionism and specifically for my father.

Along with my request for peace in the Middle East, there is my request for more freedoms in Iran. We need a policy of information through social media from the Iranian people to the Iranian people who can be aware that the end of dictatorship is possible. Life. Woman. Freedom.

Even if we accept the version that Hamas hid militants inside hospitals and schools, Israel should not have allowed itself to bomb them. Aside from the fact that it is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention, but then no political-military objective justifies the death of a single innocent child, let alone if there are thousands.

This does not improve the security of Israel, rather it fuels terrorism, because then the little brother of the child who died under the bombs could become a terrorist in a loop in which: Israel bombs, creates hatred and therefore terrorism and then bombs again.

It is the same argument that we can make for the new conflict between Israel and Iran. If Israel bombs Lebanon, then Iran bombs Israel, then Israel bombs Iran. We will never stop until we move towards dialogue and peace.

And here we open the discussion on the many red lines that the US has put on Israel and that once Israel has crossed them there have been no consequences. If the US says to Italy "Look, you have to do A" and Italy says "No, we do B", the US bombs Italy as it has done with other countries.

It drives me crazy instead the same situation with Israel does not bring negative consequences for Israel. I am not saying that the US should bomb Israel, but at least it should be firm in its condemnation and should not sell them more weapons.

There comes a time when you can no longer indulge situations or friends in your personal life, but you have to get your balls out and face life's problems with courage. This applies to our personal life. This applies to the USA and the world. This applies to Roma. Daje Roma!
