This blog pursues two ambitious and challenging goals: world peace and Roma's victory. This mission is driven by the emotions evoked in me by images of war and Roma's matches. It's a matter of the heart. Achieving this goal requires study, reasoning, and attention to detail; it requires a clear head.

Not good for the last friendly before the start of the season. In particular, we conceded two goals on the counterattack too easily. For Gasperini's game, we need to be better in one-on-one situations. And in any case, if the central backs move up, the central midfielders need to stay back.

Cristante scored the goals, and Soulé scored a particularly good one from a great assist from Rensch. However, Soulé, in my opinion, can't perform at his best as a left winger. We'll have to see if Jadon Sancho, a left-sided attacker, arrives, or if we should consider playing with a 352, strengthening the midfield, given the defensive problems against Aston Villa and Neom.

In any case, the center forward is also a problem: Ferguson and Dovbyk were inadequate on Saturday. Dovbyk was better at laying off, but he's left-footed like Dybala and Soulè. Considering El Sha's defensive development, which can also play left-back, giving Angelino a rest, we need to look for a right-footed striker, preferably a second striker, because Ferguson is the only one right-footed right-footed right-footer right now. In this sense, Jadon Sancho is excellent. For Dybala and Soulè, we need to consider a relay. Perhaps against Bologna, starting with Matias, since he's the one with the ball. There are 2 superficial observations of mine on Bologna which I list in order of importance.

Be especially wary of counterattacks from Immobile, Orsolini, and Dominguez. Immobile will forever be a Lazio icon; he'll be very much in control of the game and is a powerful attacker, also good with his head on crosses from the wings. The true playmaker is Orsolini. Freuler, who can superficially be identified as the primary builder, is a trap. He's not the first choice in build-up play (in any case, you have to man-mark him too). The choice is often the right side, with Orsolini dropping deep with the right back (Holm or De Silvestri) going up front. Angelino and Ndicka (or Hermoso) will play a key role on our left side.

To summarise this concept, as you can see from the image, Vitik passes to Orsolini (1) who has gone back, who then decides whether to lay off the ball to the playmaker (2a) (here Freuler, but it could also be Fabbian), or pass to his side for the right back (2b), or launch a long ball directly to Immobile who is very quick to get to the offside line (2c).

Ukraine could accept the territorial swap if it saw the entire provinces of Kherson and Zaporizhia returned to Ukraine, including the important nuclear power plant.

It's very important that Russia has accepted the presence of European troops in Ukraine, likely those of the willing, Great Britain and France, and that it accepts Ukraine's membership in NATO: a guarantee for the future. In the coming days, we'll see whether Russia's goodwill isn't just in words but also in action. Meanwhile, it's natural that Zelensky can't say yes to Russia's requests without Russia granting something.

We've coldly analyzed Roma's opponent and the peace talks in Ukraine, but along with the head, there's always a need for the heart. Roma and peace are two passions that touch good feelings, the heart. Images of Gaza or Ukraine touch the heart. It's therefore human for someone to want peace, world peace. Roma, too, is a reversal of sentiments. The Roma fans who go to the stadium will have to put their heart into it, those on the pitch will have to put their head into it.
