Security is an excuse for the far right to establish fascism. Pana. Roma- AC Milan 1-1.

The world has cancer. Europe has cancer. The far right is cancer. Trump is chemotherapy. It's tough. It's painful. It's difficult. It doesn't necessarily mean you'll be saved. But it's the only chance of salvation. What do these strong and shocking rulings mean?

Trump is practical proof that the far right, or if you prefer the fascists, under the guise of bringing security, eliminating crime and therefore immigrants, whom the fascists identify with crime, can establish fascism, or if you prefer, a regime of terror.

This is what's happening in Minnesota, with a crucial difference compared to the last century: people are now more sensitive to injustice, they arm themselves with smartphones to bear witness, and because they're armed with dangerous smartphones that record videos, they risk their lives and sometimes get killed, as happened to Alex Pretti. So, in Europe, those who were thinking of voting for the far right must morally ask themselves a question: what if this happened here too?

It's hard. It's difficult. It's painful. It's chemotherapy. The one I witnessed in the 1980s on my mother. Four years of agony. When cancer was a sure death sentence. And the one I then experienced for my father's sister, for my father, and for my wife's mother. It's hard. But it's the only way for the world, for the USA, for Europe, to realize the tragic future toward which it was hurtling: downhill into hell.

It's a recurring situation throughout history: those who claim to represent good against evil often turn out to be the evil that must be defeated. This also applies to the Iranian theocratic regime, which calls those who legitimately protest for a freer and more democratic political system "Enemies of God." In Italy, for the moment, we have avoided the threat of fascism because the government includes a moderate party like Forza Italia that would not allow such practices.

In any case, socialists, democrats, and liberals must remain alert because when we raise the issue of security, as the far right is doing, we are paving the way, at best, for the restriction of certain freedoms, at worst for the establishment of an authoritarian system.

There are those who portray victims of violence, even state violence, as the devil, and then there's AC Milan, who use the devil as a symbol, when so many AC Milan fans are genuinely very good people.

Forza Italia was Berlusconi's creation, and it brought AC Milan to its best moment in history. Sunday's match showed a Milan that was far from Berlusconi-esque. They were defensively focused (with excellent defensive play) and then launched counterattacks, while Berlusconi's AC Milan dominated the game unchallenged.

In the first half, Roma cornered Milan and found an excellent Maignan. Soulé did well as a left winger, although I generally prefer a right-footer in that position. Malen did well, having to think not only about shooting, but also about providing assists. Likewise, Venturino must not only think about dribbling, but also about interacting with the overlapping full-back (in this case, Celik).

Milan took the lead with a header from De Winter following a magical Modric free kick. Then came the penalty, which I think was clear. Lorenzo did well, keeping his cool in the face of Milan's various methods of unnerving him, particularly Maignan's, and thus managing to equalize.

Talking about Roma-Milan also means remembering Antonio De Falchi, who died in circumstances still unclear on a hot day in Milan while following Roma away. This proves that violence, and specifically the fans who practice it, are idiots and often even pieces of shit.

Just ICE strikes indiscriminately, the Ministry of the Interior has indiscriminately targeted Roma fans for last week's clashes against Fiorentina. In my opinion, those who cause the clashes are people with a low IQ. Those two neurons in their heads don't connect and they fight, but I don't think it's right to punish all Roma fans like this. It must be said that unfortunately, it's the only solution to prevent these idiots from causing trouble.

We'll face a very different situation in Athens when we face our brothers, Panathinaikos. We're the favorites going into this match with a good chance of advancing directly to the round of 16. However, we can't be completely disinterested. In fact, it's crucial to play our best. We must try to avoid seventh or eighth place, so as to avoid the semifinals where we'd face Aston Villa or Olympique Lyonnais, the tournament's most fearsome teams.

Psychologically, Panda is a very emotional team. They can play above their potential, driven by our value, our reputation, and the passionate support of their fans.

Tactically, the new coach, that old fox Rafa Benitez, has deployed several formations. So I won't try to help him with graphics that might clarify his ideas. There are several good individual players. Bakasetas, whom we already faced in the Conference preliminaries when he played for Trabzonspor, is a midfielder with a delicate foot who can also play as an attacking midfielder; Zaroury, the Moroccan left winger; Swiderski, the Polish center forward, who is entirely left-footed and can be replaced by Tetteh, a Greek-Ghanaian, who is quicker.

Daje Roma!
