The secret is not to think too much. Roma-Cagliari 2-0. Napoli

My advice for the Italians at the Olympics and for Roma, as seen against Cagliari, for the match against Napoli is not to dwell too much. Reasoning is useful, but sometimes simplicity is needed, as building a long period with too many subordinates only leads to confusion.

This also applies to the last match against Cagliari, especially Malen's goal. He didn't have many doubts about the first goal, but immediately knew what to do and executed it brilliantly, scoring the opening goal.

Overall, it was a match dominated by Roma. It was essential to break the deadlock after 25 minutes, immediately putting a stop to Cagliari's unsporting time-wasting. Cagliari never threatened. Wesley outplayed their best player: Palestra (a full-back/winger with excellent potential). Pisilli, Soulé, and Celik (who provided the assist for Malen's second goal) performed well. The defense was in control. The attack was fairly effective.

As per our league objective, we're in the thick of the fight for a Champions League spot. It seems our main rival is the prestigious Juventus, but if we beat Napoli at the Maradona, we can aspire to overtake them as well.

The match against Napoli has always been a difficult one, partly due to our mental blocks. However, this time, given that Napoli have many injured players and we're in good form, we can win at the Maradona. Tactically, we need to have a structured and stable posture, without getting caught off guard.

Conte's Napoli plays with 3421 which then becomes 3241 in the offensive phase.
They defend in zones on corner.

They'll attack on the left flank, especially with Spina, who delivers excellent crosses. Celik will have to do his best to keep him at bay.

Vergara is a left-footed right winger, so he's predisposed to move towards the center. Here we see Napoli's very intelligent movement, with Vergara dropping back with the defender marking him and McTominay running into space. McTominay shoots, and Genoa goalkeeper Bijlow parries it for Hojlund, who scores to temporarily equalize the score at 1-1 (Napoli won the match 2-3).

It'll also be a tough match for Ndicka, who must win the match against Hojlund. He excels at taking advantage in close combat when he has to dislodge Napoli from their defensive zone, is quick on the ball behind the defensive line, and is adept at volleying crosses.

Reflection is always necessary, but it shouldn't slow you down or even paralyze you. Sometimes you have to have the courage of instinct. We showed it against Cagliari, and we must show it in Naples.

Daje Roma!
