Cagliari – Roma 0-1

C’era all’orizzonte (come scritto nel prepartita) la possibile beffa di una Lazio troppo morbida contro l’Inter, nel caso in cui i nerazzurri meneghini avessero la possibilità di toglierci il quarto posto e quindi l’accesso alla Champions League 2018/19 e invece i biancocelesti ci hanno tolto le caldarroste dal fuoco, pareggiando con l’Atalanta (veramente un’ottima squadra che meritava anche la vittoria) alle 15 di ieri (1-1). Poi (alle 20:45) con una vittoria importante, difficile e sofferta abbiamo ipotecato la qualificazione in Champions. Ora ci basta un pareggio nelle ultime due partite, con la possibilità di avere già questa certezza matematica (sarà molto difficile per la Lazio portare a casa i 3 punti da Crotone) prima di giocare la prossima in casa con i campioni d’Italia da 6 anni e che molto probabilmente lo saranno anche quest’anno. Non si tratta di una profezia difficile in quanto, anche se perdesse le ultime 2 partite e il Napoli le vincesse, c’è un enorme vantaggio nella differenza reti per i gianduia bianconeri i(+16), visto che gli scontri diretti sono alla pari. In ogni caso la Roma dovrà dare tutto in campo, non solo per una questione di rivalità, non solo perchè, anche se il traguardo è molto vicino, non è ancora stato conquistato del tutto, ma per una questione di cultura sportiva più importante anche della più acerrima rivalità, come ha dimostrato la Fiorentina battendo il Napoli 3-0 e come ha dimostrato il Torino andando a pareggiare al San Paolo (2-2), nonostante questo ha significato l’ennesimo scudetto per gli odiati juventini. Come avevamo previsto, la nostra partita a Is Arenas era mentalmente, tecnicamente e ambientalmente difficile. Il Cagliari è stato ottimo e la sua tifoseria è stata molto calda (ma ce lo aspettavamo). Per via dei molti amici sardi spero possano mantenere la categoria, anche perchè il Cagliari di ieri se lo merita. La Roma ha vinto grazie ad un fantastico colpo di biliardo di Cengiz (match-winner). Sono stati bravi anche Gerson, Gonalons, Dzeko, Alisson e Capradossi (una piacevole sorpresa). La Roma ha vinto perchè ha saputo soffrire senza cedere, nonostante qualche imperfezione nei passaggi. e un po’ di timidezza nei contrasti. Nel complesso, tutti abbiamo giocato bene, compresi i nostri fantastici tifosi in trasferta. E’ molto facile che arriveremo a domenica sera con già la certezza matematica della qualificazione in Champions. In ogni caso onoriamo l’Olimpico, il campionato, la Juventus e il Napoli, giocando per vincere. Daje Roma!
