Napoli – Roma 1-1

Sapevamo sarebbe stata battaglia e battaglia è stata. Abbiamo sofferto e ceduto solo negli ultimi minuti, ma non possiamo recriminare sul risultato, sul quale è più giusto che recrimini il Napoli, che ha dominato lungamente la partita. Ottimi Juan Jesus, Manolas, ElSha (che ha festeggiato il compleanno con un gol) e Lorenzo Pellegrini. Quando è uscito De Rossi, abbiamo perso fluidità nella manovra contro il pressing. Quando è uscito Manolas, abbiamo perso sicurezza nella fase difensiva. Risultato comunque ottimo per noi. Speriamo che il greco e il nostro Capitano si riprendano presto dagli infortuni. Sono fondamentali.

Pressing o densità e contropiede? Da Sacchi a Simoni. Se avessi la possibilità di fare una domanda a Di Francesco, sarebbe “Ma quindi abbiamo cambiato mentalità rispetto l’anno scorso? Non più pressing e gioco offensivo, ma difesa e contropiede? Provo a rispondere da solo, mettendomi nei panni del nostro Mister, perchè in questo momento non ho la possibilità di chiederglielo. La risposta potrebbe essere: vi ricordato Roma-Atl.Madrid dello scorso anno? Anche in quel caso siamo stati schiacciati, poi  quando siamo entrati in forma con Under, Dzeko e gli altri abbiamo raggiunto l’insperata semifinale di Champions. E’ solo questioni di tempo e di ambientamento di alcuni giocatori sia per il clima romano, sia perché alcuni sono schierati in un diverso ruolo da quello a cui erano abituati, poi si vedrà la vera Roma. Ci saranno in ogni caso ancora partite in cui la fase difensiva sarà importante, spero con un atteggiamento più concretizzante in fase di contropiede.

Posso capire che è difficile l’ambientamento a Roma [Di Francesco (quello vero) ha fatto l’esempio di Lorenzo Pellegrini], sia Cristante che Nzonzi ancora si devono ambientare a Roma, ma soprattutto Bryan nell’Atalanta giocava trequartista, non mediano. Bisogna aspettare che questi giocatori capiscano i meccanismi di Di Francesco, entrino totalmente nel gruppo Roma, ma bisogna iniziare a essere pronti sia in Serie A che in Champions, perché le altre non hanno lo scrupolo di aspettarti. E poi che facciamo? Il prossimo anno compriamo 11 nuovi giocatori e ricominciamo dal via? Dobbiamo costruire lo spirito di gruppo, oliare meccanismi umani e tattici, ma non si può, cambiando così tanto ogni stagione.

Paradossalmente ci troviamo in una situazione migliore in Champions rispetto alla Serie A, questo perché alcuni di noi hanno performance molto diverse tra le due competizioni, invece bisogna mettere lo stesso impegno anche in Serie A, perché la buona performance e la vittoria in Serie A è un investimento buono per una migliore prestazione in Champions. Con il massimo impegno a Firenze, sono convinto che possiamo vincere. Daje Roma!
