La prima di Claudio Ranieri è stata una partita che ha mostrato carattere e gestione. Con la linea difensiva più bassa abbiamo potuto difenderci dagli attacchi degli azzurri toscani e gestire con più calma il pallone, non dovendo per forza costruire sempre, ma anche lanciando lungo quando non c’erano soluzioni vicine. L’allenatore non ha dimostrato soltanto dna giallorosso nell’accettare il contratto e nelle conferenze stampa . Ha dimostrato anche di conoscere il tradizionale dna della Roma quando ha detto che la Roma fa sempre il gol, quindi l’importante è non concederli. Sono stati fondamentali anche i tifosi a sostenere la squadra negli ultimi minuti quando, anche per un recupero di 6 minuti, la fine della partita non arrivava mai e ha fatto bene Claudio a essere riconoscente con i tifosi per questo.

Di solito non parlo dell’arbitro ma visto che ci sono state polemiche pretestuose da parte di tifosi di altre squadre, vi do la mia lettura. Se dopo il tocco di mano di Oberlein (per cui è dubbia la volontarietà), la palla non fosse stata a disposizione di un altro giocatore azzurro toscano, non era da fischiare la punizione, ma siccome la palla finisce a Caputo, c’è un vantaggio acquisito conseguente al fallo di mano. A mio modo di vedere, il fischio è giusto. Mi vengono più dubbi sull’ammonizione di ElSha per simulazione, dove il calcio di punizione mi sembra la decisione più giusta. Quella punizione sarebbe stata molto pericolosa e se la Roma si fosse portata sul 3-1 ci saremmo risparmiati tanti patemi d’animo. Mi sembra ingiusta anche l’espulsione di Florenzi. Il secondo cartellino giallo avviene per un contrasto involontario, con Alessandro che tenta in tutti i modi di fermarsi e non ostacolare l’avversario. Il cartellino rosso ha pesato sulla partita, dando speranza ai toscani e costringendo la Roma a giocare soltanto in difesa negli ultimi dieci minuti.

Migliori in campo in ordine di prestazione: ElSha (bellissimo il gol e bravo a tenere palla negli ultimi minuti), Florenzi (decisivo il suo assist), Schick (1 gol) e Kluivert (anche se la corsa e il dribbling devono essere conclusi con l’assist intelligente, magari alzando la testa per un attimo, o col tiro nello specchio).

Mancano 11 partite (6 in casa e 5 fuori) e già il prossimo week-end potrebbe essere decisivo. La lotta si è ristretta a noi, il Milan e l’Inter (con Lazio, Atalanta e Torino pronte a rientrare nella corsa): tre squadre per due posti in Champions. Nella prossima giornata ci sarà il derby di Milano, quindi per noi è fondamentale vincere a Ferrara per guadagnare punti su una delle due, se non su entrambe. Daje Roma!
