Napoli-Roma 1-1

Roma have improved a lot in the game. Does high pressure. It builds cleanly. But then we pay dearly for mistakes that were not important before, it is not bad luck, but we must also consider that Napoli is a great team. The technical aspect that interests me most is the refusal of the last step (perhaps due to too much selfishness). We had 2 occasions to put a player in front of the goalkeeper (first Zaniolo and then Carles Perez) and these occasions then weigh on the results. It is a very serious mistake that must be resolved immediately for these last matches and in the long term for next year.

Romanists and Neapolitans. Sons of the South. Sons of the Sun. Of the ancient history of Italy. Great capitals of great nations. Of great cultures. Popular cities that have recently been the victims of bitter enmity that is meaningless. In the rest of Italy there are easy jokes about Neapolitans. About their allegedly living outside the law. In reality, they are prejudices due to the rampant underworld in Naples (and beyond). It is an unfair prejudice that causes cultural racism. In fact, the alleged Neapolitan illegality is their way of surviving in hostile places in the happiest way possible. And that's what I admire about Neapolitans: their mentality. They are happy even in terrible situations. They know how to find meaning in everything. Even the most dramatic experiences. Resilient. As we must be. Also us Romanisti. Also the players. This is why the Neapolitans will win their battle against the Camorra. Because the Neapolitans are a people of love as Luciano De Crescenzo used to say.

But now let's turn the page. Tonight we will see the Milan derby in the Italian Cup and we will mentally prepare to face perhaps the strongest Italian team: Inter. Roma are playing well. It is in good shape. He has to face it with his head held high (also to make the last pass). Daje Roma!
