Roma-Genoa 1-0. Empoli. Raisi's death: now Armita and many young Iranians can rest in peace.
While Roma, with the victory against Genoa, defeated Lazio in the fight for sixth place (a difference that could mean the Champions League like nothing), Raisi fell with the helicopter in today's Azerbaijan. So let's see why I find this a sign of Divine Justice and why no one can dictate to God what he wants, nor describe death, destruction and war as God's will.
Initially, I felt scared by the presumably irrational reactions characteristic of authoritarian regimes that depend more on the mood of their leaders with psychosis of pathological dependence on power (think for example of Israel with Netanyahu) up to the delirium of omnipotence (think for example to Putin) and uncontrolled by democratic laws (as happened in the USA with an irrational person like Trump).
The fear, however, was unfounded because the Religious Leader, Khamenei, and all of Iran are calmly managing the transition in view of the elections which were already scheduled for 28 June. Therefore we can coldly analyze Raisi and his political activity.

He was a bloodthirsty ultra-conservative in domestic politics, bloodily repressing the protests of young Iranians, who demonstrated a much more evolved mentality than the medievalistic structure of the Regime, but it is also true that in foreign policy, particularly in the last period, he was managed to slow down the escalation towards war against Israel which recently seemed almost inevitable.
The final judgment is negative. He died charred. With atrocious suffering. The same suffering that he had ordered for the many political opponents who asked for just a little more freedom, like the women who would like to watch football matches at the stadium.

I don't have the tools and knowledge to establish whether it was a political murder or an accident. Raisi ordered the assassination of many Iranians without the slightest scruple due to the young age of the victims (which is already blasphemy), declaring he was doing it in the name of God (which is another blasphemy), so I think that the teaching the best we can assume is that it was simply God's will that was done, which no one can dictate to God or falsely act as his spokesman to promote death and war.

I too felt the same ùbrys for a moment during the return match against Bayer, when we had all those random episodes in our favour, forgetting that Gott mit uns (God is with us) the Nazis said so. Trust in irrationalism is fascinating but also mocking. Instead, it is only through rational reflection on details, in particular on errors, that a winning club is built.
In this sense, the first half against Genoa is very instructive. Roma dominated. But then when we got to the door we made the wrong choice.
It was wrong to kick the corners with alternative solutions to the direct cross into the area which has always been a winning weapon. Likewise, it was a mistake to take free kicks around the area quickly and not take advantage of Lorenzo's poisonous crosses. Then the crosses from corners or free kicks can vary. They can be at the first post or the far post, with an effect towards the goal or towards the center of the area.
It was wrong to insist on the central solution, as the great Ciro Ferrara also underlined in the post-match on DAZN, moreover always shooting very high, without ever looking for the cross from the sides (also to make the tactic less predictable).

It is no coincidence that the decisive goal came from a cross from the right side of ElSha, coincidentally in that position, for Romelu's head.
Raisi's death teaches us that in the end Divine Justice comes to fruition and this must be a lesson to us even at the very low level of Serie A. Let's continue to follow the rules even politically and not look for strange movements: we will be rewarded.
Even though I am aware that the people of Bergamo hate us and Gasperini has not spared contemptuous jokes to the point of being despicable from an ethical point of view, I cannot help but compliment them. Gasperini is an asshole, but also a great coach. On a sporting level, for him and Atalanta it was right that a prestigious affirmation arrived after so many years in which the Goddess showed great football. On a human level, it is a great satisfaction for a city that has suffered many losses during COVID. We remember all the military trucks with coffins in Bergamo.
At this point, to go to the Champions League, only one condition of those listed in the pre-match is missing and that is for Atalanta to finish fifth and not in a higher position. I don't think it's right to ask the Bergamo players not to commit (nor is there any hope given that they hate us), while it is right to hope for Toro, Viola (both in the running for the Conference), Juve and Bologna (which are the two clubs which could be overcome.
It's all very random, especially given the usual spirit with which the latest matches are approached by those who have nothing to play for with such dramatic performances and results. Roma should not have put themselves in the situation of depending on others, but at this point it is right that our favorites also play with determination against Empoli, first of all for an ethical question and then because a good result in Empoli would mean salvation for our friends from Udinese.
If on the surface it seems that Nicola is fielding the 352, studying the formation more specifically is the 4231, more vertical and more attentive to the defensive phase than Zanetti's. He is a very tough opponent who needs points to save himself. If Maleh were to play against us, maybe we can talk about 433.

In the construction phase they set up in a W with Marin as the main playmaker, Pezzella as the left top player and Bereszynski as the right top player. Grassi also helps here (replaced by Bastoni against us).

In the offensive phase, Marin also has a good outside shot.
In the defensive phase they start with a 5-man defense with Gyasi as the fifth defender.

Gyasi is the one who gets the most play in the offensive phase. They attack especially from their right. If the 3-man defense often becomes 4 or 5-man, they are also very free in their positions in attack.
Here we see almost a 31 in the attacking phase with Gyasi on the right, Fazzini in the center and Cambiaghi on the left. Everyone is closer to Niang who I don't rule out that he could play against us, if anything by coming on during the match.

On corners, they defend man by man.

The last day is often like the last day of school with some throwing water balloons at each other and others busy with last-minute questions. Roma awaits the blessing of the Champions League from other fields, but for ethics they must commit against Empoli. Likewise, if one thinks of Armita and many young people, Raisi's casual death almost seems like a blessing. Now the many young people first tortured and then killed can rest in peace. Daje Roma!
