Juve – Roma 1-3

A speech on Zaniolo. The attacking midfielder is already at the same level as his idol, Kaka, in the best days. As Capello said, perhaps it is less technical (but slightly), but it has devastating physical strength. Already at the moment he can be counted among the top 5 players in the world, if not the strongest of all, given his splendid shape. How strange, then, that Roma thinks of a mockery when Juve proposes the exchange with Bernardeschi? He can potentially enter the history of football and, at the moment, it seems to me a step above all, even to Messi and Ronaldo. He is a player on whom to build the future and at the moment we cannot consider any exchange. Maybe in a few years with Nicolò full of success in Rome, we can also think of selling it, but not less than 200 million.

Juventus brought a remodeled team with several of the Under 23 team. Among them I especially liked Frabotta, Muratore and Vrioni. I wish them to play at high levels, as Lirola and Audero already do (they too come from Juve's youth teams).

We played well. Especially good: Cristante, Villar, Under, Perotti (2 goals including one on penalty) and Kalinic (1 goal). Which is an excellent vice-Dzeko. I want to make a special mention for Calafiori, one him's goal was unjustly canceled , but it was decisive, forcing Danilo to make him foul in the area. Roma must build its future on him too.

The seriousness of Fonseca. Lately our coach is more serious, he laughs less. In this he reminds me of the seriousness of the great Agostino Di Bartolomei, our captain of the early 1980s, standard bearer of many successes and leaders of character in that Roma. The only observation that I want to make to the coach is to make Zaniolo play more. In Duisburg, Sevilla awaits us. It will be important to take advantage of Nicolò's contribution, if not from the beginning, at least from the beginning of the second half (especially if we have to unlock the game or we are losing). We still arrive in Duisburg in top form. We can feel among the favorites for the final victory (which I maybe wouldn't said a few days ago). We can and must win. Daje Roma!
