Roma – Crotone 5-0

It was not a simple game as the result would imply. In the first half, Roma struggled to take the lead and only succeeded in the second half with Borjita. Then there was Pellegrini’s double, second goal from a Mkhi's assist, Mkhi’s goal after a splendid ensemble action with Karsdorp’s final pass and Borjita’s second goal, which far exceeded expectations at the start of the season.

A slow-paced game as both teams don't have much to ask of the season (Crotone is already relegated and Roma are out of the fight for the Champions League). In general, Roma played well and also tried some Under-19 players (such as Darboe, Zalewski and Bove) who played well.

As I wrote, Roma don't have many reasons for this season finale. The smaller cups, like the Conference League, but even if we play in the Europa League, are not decisive in economic terms. There will be a need for the Friedkins to feed Rome's budget especially in view of Mourinho's claims. The base is still good and to this base requires the utmost commitment in the match against Inter, to be protagonists in Josè's new and winning Rome. We do our best. Daje Roma!
