Roma-Trab 3-0 and Salernitana.

Roma qualify for the Conference League groups, winning with confidence and safety on the Trab even at home. The goals were: by Bryan Cristante, with a venomous slash from outside the area, by Zaniolo, a beautiful and moving goal knowing his Odyssey, and by El Sha a high quality player who deserves more minutes on the pitch. Excellent performance also for Pellegrini, Ibanez, Karsdorp, Veretout and Vina. The negative note is the yellow card in injury time for Mancini.

Mou does not make the same possession as Fonseca. He often leaves possession to the opponent. We always go vertical. We always go looking for the man on the offside line. The icing on the cake was Zaniolo's goal. A goal that means a lot for the Roma fans who accompanied him in this period and for the Italians, aware that they can count on pure talent for the national team: a champion who can become champion and can make us champions, as Romanisti and as Italians.

In the south of Campania, on the border with Basilicata, there is Salerno. Salerno and the Cilento coast represent the Campania renaissance, often in contrast with that terrible shame for Campania that is the Camorra. The symbolic character of this renaissance is Angelo Vassallo, the fisherman mayor (as per the title of a 2016 miniseries with Sergio Castellitto about his story). Vassallo was a simple fisherman, capable of being the mayor of Pollica as a representative of the PD for about 15 years. He was a great environmentalist. First, he bought a purifier and cleaned up the waters of the Cilento coast, now one of the cleanest coasts with the clearest water. His environmentalism clashed with interests in the port of the Camorra, where drug movements took place, and he was killed in '10. It is still a symbol of a different Campania, progressive and able to build its future outside the shadow of the Camorra, through love and environmental conservation of the place of origin.

The Salernitana property is much less clear than the waters of the Cilento coast. Last year, the owner was Claudio Lotito, the current owner of Lazio as well. With the promotion of the amaranth seahorses, a conflict of interest arose for Lotito, resolved (at least formally) with a trust now in charge of Salernitana which manages 35 million previously "donated" by Lotito. And when Salernitana and Lazio meet, who gives us guarantees that there will be no strange situations? Fortunately, the match between the two "sisters" in the second round will reach the third day, so at least partially the combine is avoided, because in the middle of the season both teams cannot make calculations (we hope). Always if it gets there, because if the current trust has not found a new buyer in December, Salernitana will be relegated to Serie B. A very likely hypothesis. The consequence will be an irregular championship, not so much for the points, because at that point the Salernitana would also lose the games won or drawn 3-0, as for the mental and physical fatigue spent and the injuries that the teams that beat her, they would have to deal with. But then it is not clear why the Cittadella or Benevento did not resort, thinking of the substantial cake of Serie A TV rights. The reward was worth the challenge, but perhaps the power of Lotito, so powerful, sincere and unpunished to remember that Dal Pino (current president of the League) is his choice, he advised against them.

Anyway, we must think to win because our sporting culture dictates this.

Castori fielded the 532, often making a defensive phase. They mainly do defense and counter-attack. In fact, the amaranth seahorses like a cat let you believe in your domain, but then when you least expect it, they try to give you a paw.

Under construction they are looking for a change of sides, especially with Bonazzoli (left) going back. Djuric is taller and is the first pivot-type striker, while Bonazzoli is faster, makes the second striker, waits for Djuric's spit and often tries to shoot. Djuric could be replaced by Simy, who is good at shooting, with more flair for goals and a strong acrobatic solution.

Capezzi and Mamadou Coulibaly are pressing on the full backs. The pressing is however mild. Above all, they are looking for defense and counterattacks.

In the offensive construction, Mamadou Coulibaly overlaps with Kechrida, but the side where they are stronger is their left with Capezzi favoring the run of Ruggeri (left), who makes excellent crosses.

Kechrida takes a corner from the right and crosses very well towards the center of the area. They have several very high players who can score on this occasion like Djuric and Mamadou Coulibaly.

Watch out for Mamadou Coulibaly (my protégé midfielder, whom I suggested last year to @rio_vela for his fantasy football) when he enters the box on crosses. He is powerful, very strong in the head, he is right-footed, but he can also shoot with his left. There is also another Coulibaly called Lassana and mainly does construction and defense.

They defend man by man on corner kicks.

They will mostly play defensive, mainly looking for a draw. On an offensive level, they are insidious with Ruggeri's crosses for Djuric or Simy or with Bonazzoli when he tries to shoot, especially when he goes from right to center to shoot left. It will be important to make things clear with the score as soon as possible. Game to win. Point. Daje Roma!
