The Romanista these days is very angry. Specifically regarding the club, there is anger about the exit from a competition like the Europa League which, with a full squad, was within reach. As citizens of the world, we are angry about the labyrinthine situation that corrupt and immoral powers like Netanyahu and Trump have put us in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reading I make of the war in Iran is that it is yet another mass distraction weapon. For Netanyahu because without this state of permanent war with renewed and renewable enemies and imaginary dangers, he would be on trial for corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Trump, because he was forced to make the Epstein files public (and he never made them fully public) and therefore could be accused of being a rapist and moreover a child rapist<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For these people who have unlimited power, without shame or morality, it is not a problem to let millions of people die, including many Americans and Israelis, the important thing is not to go to jail or even be sentenced to death which, for me, is a barbaric law, but of which they are proud supporters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the classic extreme right-wing scheme that inevitably leads to ruin: channeling the people's anger against an enemy who can be an immigrant, another religion, or another country (preferably a weak enemy or, according to their often mistaken opinion, weak) to then hide from the government their incompetence and corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the MSI, which for decades made posters saying 'We have Clean Hands' and now, with their grandchildren in power, have examples like Del Mastro, famous for going to take out the trash, while there are New Year's shootings by his comrades, which then turn out to be part of boards of directors, where the boss is the eighteen-year-old daughter of a mafioso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thus find ourselves with several countries bombed: Iran and Lebanon by the USA and Israel, and many countries in the Middle East by Iran. An increasingly real danger of terrorism also in Europe and generally in the West. The price of gasoline and energy rising to stellar levels. Financial markets in distress. Hundreds of thousands of deaths, including many Americans and Israelis. All this because Trump and Netanyahu so temporarily postpone that judgment that will inevitably arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anger is also for Roma. Make no mistake, I do not want to scold the players. I saw a lot of heart on the field.
