Udinese – Roma 0-4

Io ci credo! Daje Roma!

Roma dominates and wins in Udine. A deserved victory that is also skimpy due to the amount of opportunities it has had. Udinese has never been dangerous and has been challenged by its fans. Despite the many injuries, despite the media always against, despite the bizarre red card for Fazio (who will miss the fundamental game with Napoli), Roma dominated as our coach, Paulo Fonseca, said. Bravo Zaniolo (author of the first goal). Bravo Smalling (perfect as usual on defense and author of the second goal on an excellent Veretout corner). Bravo Kluivert (author of the third goal after a splendid team play in one and two touches). Bravo Pastore (author of the assist for Kluivert who caught off guard the whole Friulian defense that was going towards Zaniolo. Javier is a superior class player), Bravo Kolarov (author of the assist for Zaniolo and finalist of the penalty of 0-4 ). Bravo Mancini both as a central midfielder and as a defender. Udinese seemed a bit in tilt, but it wasn’t an easy game. Having won it shows that we are a team with a great personality, a high technical rate and that we know how to maintain concentration despite destabilizing negative events (such as the red card for Fazio). All this in front of 600 Romanist fans who sang throughout the game after reaching the north-eastern edge of Italy and returned satisfied with a 0-4 in their pocket. Heroes.

The fact that many low-ranking teams now also play offensive and not just defensive as punching-balls of Serie A bigs suggested to me that this would be a fighter championship with surprising scores and a championship winner with fewer points than to past years. It is not so. Juventus has never lost. He won 8 games and only drew 2. With this step, Juventus will win the championship by far exceeding 90 points even in the worst case scenario, while my estimate was that the championship would have been won by exceeding 85 points. I had not considered that the referees could go wrong often in favor of the Bianconeri gianduia. It happened against Bologna. It happened yesterday with Genoa: 2-1 with a very questionable 95th penalty and first with a red card for a truly ridiculous Genoa player. It almost seems that the referees have problems in ending the game differently from a victory for the bianconeri. This means making incapable figures, also because it would be enough to go and review the episodes at the VAR, to realize the errors (provided that they are not intentional errors). On the other hand, in other countries thanks to the VAR they are correcting the mistakes made by the German, French, English and Spanish referees and making them less reliable than the Italian ones. Even in Spain, after booing that fake penalty, they would go to see the replay, they would see that there is no penalty and that the right decision is the yellow card for Ronaldo for simulation. Then Juventus, even at the 96th, has every chance of winning, perhaps with a header from Betancour on Radu’s free kick, two dribbles by Dybala, two dribbles and shot of Ronaldo. Juve wins and no one disputes. And instead we are here talking about yet another referee error in favor of Juve. This situation make rage especially if Napoli does not see whistling a sacrosanct penalty like the one on Llorente by Kjaer and Roma must play more than 60 minutes outnumbered for a wrong red card (there was not even a foul) and have Fazio unfairly disqualified in the fundamental match with Napoli.

But we must be stronger than these facts too. We must continue on our way, playing with a lot of head and a lot of heart, especially in the challenge on Saturday with Napoli. We will keep such high rhythms under the aspect of the victories that we will recover the opponents. I believe it! Daje Roma!
