Roma – Porto 2-1

La Roma batte il Porto, ma non ipoteca la qualificazione che per alcuni motivi è anche una buona notizia come spiegheremo più avanti. Bello il tifo in Curva Sud, tranne i cori “Tifiamo solo la maglia” e contro Kolarov. Era importante vincere e la Sud ha perso un’altra occasione per sostenere strenuamente la Roma e non dare adito a polemiche inutili e deleterie. Bene la Roma in campo che forse meritava di più del 2-1.

Bene la fase difensiva. Soprattutto Florenzi su Brahimi, che è sembrato il giocatore più pericoloso dei Dragoes. Bene anche Fazio, Manolas e Kolarov. I due centrali difensivi hanno fatto un’ottima performance, non perdendo nessun duello e non commettendo fallo. In Champions però non possiamo perdere la concentrazione mai come è successo nel caso del gol dei lusitani. In generale , la buona prestazione della difesa è anche merito dei centrocampisti e degli attaccanti che hanno pressato e contrastato di più gli avversari.

Bravi con il momentaneo 2-0, ma loro non hanno mollato e hanno subito dimezzato lo svantaggio. E’ un gol che può essere letto anche positivamente. Vi spiego subito il perché. Se fossimo andati a Oporto con due gol di scarto, probabilmente ci saremmo troppo cullati sul grande vantaggio, rischiando un’umiliante debacle ed eliminazione. Invece così sappiamo da subito che dobbiamo affrontare il ritorno mettendo in campo il nostro meglio. Partiamo da una situazione di vantaggio (seppur millimetrica) con la possibilità di giocare per 2 risultati su 3.

Dobbiamo acquisire la consapevolezza che siamo una grande squadra, come ha detto Capello. Il Porto non è un gigante del calcio mondiale, ma è un ottima squadra ed ha un’ottima tradizione europea. Arrivare al giro di boa in vantaggio ha una grande importanza psicologica soprattutto per noi che abbiamo qualità e dobbiamo avere coraggio e consapevolezza per dominare anche in Portogallo.

Come affrontare il ritorno, Troveremo uno stadio caldo e un’ottima squadra. E’ giusta la mentalità di Di Francesco di non difendere lo 0-0, Sarà fondamentale segnare per primi.

Nella serie A, siamo in completa bagarre con una battaglia che sarà serrata fra 5 squadre per 2 posti in Champions (Inter, Milan, Roma, Lazio e Atalanta). E’ importante raccogliere i 3 punti all’Olimpico col Bologna, ma con questa qualità di gioco, questo impegno e questa concentrazione, possiamo riuscirci anche facilmente. Daje Roma!
