Roma – Qarabag 1-0

Vinciamo in casa col Qarabag e con il pareggio tra Atletico Madrid e Chelsea, ci qualifichiamo per primi agli ottavi. Nella giornata che vede arrivare l’ultimo sì al progetto dello Stadio, la Roma vince un girone, nel quale molti scommettevano sulla nostra eliminazione o al massimo in Europa League. Insieme alla Roma si qualifica agli ottavi anche la Juve (per seconda dietro al Barcellona) e oggi seguiremo il Napoli, per il quale l’impresa della qualificazione è molto difficile. Tatticamente la partita è dominata dalla Roma. Un dominio sterile nel primo tempo. Manca spesso il passaggio o il dribbling decisivo. Alla fine l’unico tiro vero in porta è uno del Ninja allo scadere del primo tempo. Nel complesso funzionano entrambe le catene. Diego Perotti, al quale è stato rinnovato il contratto oggi, sembra rinato. E’ lui che inizia e conclude l’azione del gol vittoria, dopo un bel tiro di Dzeko. Poi forse abbiamo paura di perdere e ci mettiamo troppo sulla difensiva, rischiando negli ultimi minuti, quando Michel colpisce di testa il pallone da solo in area e Alisson para. Solo con maggiore coraggio, solo con maggiore concentrazione,  potremo battere quegli avversari. e superare quei traguardi. Obiettivi che sono nelle nostre capacità, alla nostra portata. Ora testa al Chievo, squadra che sta facendo un ottimo campionato, ma vive un momento di appannamento. Ci vorrà la massima concentrazione e grinta, testa e cuore. Daje Roma!
