If it was a strategic action reasoned to pull Russia towards itself and divide it from China, the result was to lose Europe. So Trump's strategy was completely wrong. Then Europe and the USA are historic allies and it is right that our Prime Minister tries in some way to mend the fracture.

If Zelensky is then forced to apologize because, as many analysts say, Ukraine cannot ignore the alliance with the USA. We will all understand the situation. It is a case in which those who have more common sense must use it, as an Italian proverb says.

Then the blame for Trump and Vance is not only at high levels, it is not only European, but also the majority of the American people were outraged by this truly shameful behavior.

Surely if Trump does not intend to give security guarantees to Ukraine, we will accept it and move forward without the USA. Maybe at least by buying their weapons.

Then the new American administration will also have to deal with all the Americans who are very pissed off about this ridiculous behavior.
