Roma – Debreceni 5-2

Starting at a disadvantage due to a nasty distraction by the defense, Roma were able to slowly take command of the game and then dominated. Thanks to two long balls [first by Ibanez and then by Zalewski (excellent performance)], the two goals of Borjita and Pellegrini 2-1 arrived.

In the second half we continued to attack, leading us to 3-1 with a great shot and a palombella from Zaniolo. Nicolò is in good shape and is a candidate to be the extra weapon of Roma 21/22. Immediately after comes the second defensive distraction and Debreceni is good at taking advantage of it (3-2). The match ends with a splendid double from Dzeko. Great match for him.

In general we played well and this is a good prerequisite for the Conf. League. Great match also for the Under-19s. Bene Bove and Darboe. Excellent Zalewski, Tripi and Ciervo. We also did an excellent pressing, good (but not perfect) construction, overwhelming in the offensive phase. The opponent played well, but we were far superior in technical quality. The match against Porto (Wednesday) will certainly be more difficult. We will have to be ready. Daje Roma!
