Monchi ha fatto capire che la squadra sarà completata verso luglio, in vista della International Champions Cup, torneo a inviti che vede sfidarsi i migliori club europei. Noi affronteremo PSG, Tottenham e Juventus. Sono squadre molto forti. Noi dovremo superare la prova, cercando di vincere sempre. Sarà un buon banco di prova per la Champions, per cui domani partirà la prelazione per le partite in casa del girone. La Curva in prelazione costerà 75 euro, in vendita libera 90 euro. Sono buoni prezzi. Pagare 25 euro (o 30) per una partita di Champions è un prezzo onesto. Sarà importante riempire lo stadio, cantare e urlare a squarciagola per i nostri beniamini. La squadra che sta prendendo forma deve saper superare qualsiasi avversario. L’obiettivo massimo è lo stesso dell’anno scorso: scendere in campo sempre per vincere. Poi la nostra condizione, la classifica e l’avversario suggeriranno atteggiamenti anche più prudenti. Ma questo lo vedremo partita per partita. Intanto partiamo da questo punto: bisogna costruire una squadra capace di vincere contro chiunque. Saranno discorsi che faremo più avanti. Intanto la linea è questa: ragionare partita per partita, scendendo in campo sempre per vincere. Per quanto riguarda il mercato, siamo vicini alla presentazione di Salah al Liverpool. E’ stato un giocatore onesto. Ha dato tutto sul campo. Non ha mai fatto proclami su quanto era romanista. Non è andato ad un avversario diretto. Buona fortuna. Sky dà per certo che dovremo vendere uno tra Manolas e Ruediger. Sono due difensori puri molto forti, forse come controllo di palla (visto proprio come fondamentale elementare) preferisco il greco, il tedesco invece mi ha sorpreso per una grande capacità nella costruzione del gioco, capace anche di un assist per Dzeko per un fondamentale 1-0 col Cagliari. Non mi ricordo se ha fatto altri assist, ma si è dimostrato una buona arma. Il tedesco ha anche dalla sua un cuore grosso (mezzo giallo e mezzo rosso cit.), che incentiva la squadra a riprendersi dallo svantaggio o ad  attaccare in modo più proficuo in una partita che non si sblocca. Kostant è stato bravo invece a propiziare il gol vittoria in Roma-Inter 2-1. E’ difficile sapere chi mandare via e chi tenere. Per l’affetto che provo per entrambi e per le capacità dimostrate, terrei entrambi. Poi ci sono da fare i discorsi (che palle!) sui bilanci, il fair play e cazzi vari. Insomma Monchi saprà meglio di me cosa fare. Ieri ho parlato del senso di appartenenza dei romani come un plusvalore, ma questa non deve essere caratteristica solo dei romani, ma di chi indossa la maglia da qualunque parte del mondo. Mi vengono in mente un olandese come Strootman e un belga-indonesiano come Nainggolan. Questi sentono la maglia come una seconda pelle, sono forti e hanno un grosso cuore (mezzo giallo e mezzo rosso, come Ruediger).  Spesso raccolgono la bandiera quando è persa per terra e rilanciano la squadra, anche in virtù di capacità tecniche non da poco. Rimango dell’opinione che alcuni Primavera meritano una chance in prima squadra, ma chiunque indossi la maglia della Roma da qualunque parte del mondo provenga deve sapere che indossa il simbolo della Romanità che appartiene a tutta l’umanità.
