Qarabag – Roma 1-2

Una vittoria sofferta e importantissima.  Va bene così perchè in Champions tutte le partite sono difficili, soprattutto quelle fuori casa. Si giocava a Baku, città ricca e bellissima, che vicino alla storia del paese fa crescere enormi grattacieli. Dopo i primi 15 minuti eravamo 0-2 per noi grazie ai gol di Manolas, migliore in campo che ha giocato una partita di personalità soprattutto nella fase difensiva, e di Dzeko, abbonato al gol, incorreggibile come Lupin. Il gol loro è arrivato per un senso di rilassatezza del nostro mediano Gonalons. E’ gravissimo perdere palla con 8 giocatori più avanti del pallone. Sul pressing loro abbiamo sofferto troppo. Sono situazioni da correggere. Ci deve essere attenzione e concentrazione fino al fischio finale, anche se al 15esimo siamo già sullo 0-2, sia in Serie A, che soprattutto in Champions. Poi abbiamo avuto paura e la paura ci ha immobilizzato in un atteggiamento d’attacco (abbiamo avuto altre 3 occasioni con Kolarov, Pellegrini e Bruno Peres), ma in generale  stoppati in difesa. La paura è una brutta bestia. In una situazione d’emergenza tipo un terremoto, c’è la grande differenza tra chi grazie alla paura reagisce e si mette in salvo e chi è gelato dalla paura e rimane fermo: questa differenza d’atteggiamento molto spesso decide chi deve vivere e chi deve morire. Allo stesso modo, nel calcio anche dopo aver subito il gol bisogna avere la prontezza di reagire e giocare sempre secondo la propria mentalità. L’esempio è De Rossi che, quando subiamo il gol, è il primo ad andare a prendere il pallone: è una lezione importante per ripartire, per reagire. A metà delle partite delle italiane in Europa, il bilancio è positivo con 3 vittorie su 3 partite in Champions, anche se con le peggiori del girone. L’avversario più difficile lo affronterà l’Atalanta, che giocherà a Lione. Lazio e Milan dovrebbero vincere facilmente.  Noi avremo ora la doppia sfida col Chelsea, ma ci vorrà una Roma ben diversa. Intanto abbiamo ipotecato l’EL (ma il Qarabag può riservare sorprendenti sorprese soprattutto in casa che se ci sfavoriscono per il terzo posto, ci favoriscono per i primi due posti nel girone). Stasera c’è da vedere la reazione del Milan (nostro prossimo avversario) alla sconfitta con la Sampdoria. La sfida di domenica sarà dura, in uno stadio pieno di storia (come San Siro) e che ha ritrovato tanto pubblico (dopo le scorse deludenti stagioni e una grande campagna acquisti), ma la Roma può vincere, sopratutto se saprà reagire alle difficoltà.
