Barcellona – Roma 4-1

Aldilà della delusione per aver perso pesantemente al Camp Nou, che sottintende un atteggiamento troppo ottimista prima del match, lasciatemi dire: che bella partita! Le due squadre si sono affrontate a viso aperto, attaccando entrambe senza tatticismi esclusivamente difensivi. Forse l’unica eccezione è stata una gabbia intorno a Messi, che ha funzionato. Gli altri però sono rimasti troppo liberi, abbiamo subito il fascino del Camp Nou e sui primi due gol loro ci siamo fatti prendere dalla frenesia e dal nervosismo. Forse, come ho sentito dire su twitter da @pruzzobomber, i due autogol sono soprattutto conseguenza di troppa paura che, seppur sbagliata, è qualcosa di completamente comprensibile contro i blaugrana a casa loro. Non voglio nemmeno recriminare sui 2 rigori (netti), che non ci sono stati fischiati. Questo tipo di match (meglio se vinti) non significano solo importante esperienza europea, ma anche una reputazione internazionale che ancora dobbiamo conquistare non solo con l’arbitro, ma anche con questo tipo di avversario. Il resto l’ha fatto la loro tecnica, il loro gioco di squadra e qualche episodio sfortunato  che hanno reso al limite del proibitivo il ritorno. Nel complesso abbiamo giocato bene. Voglio essere presente e vedere al ritorno come va con il Ninja in campo e il furore dell’Olimpico (partita che prepareremo a tempo debito). Adesso testa alla Fiorentina con la voglia di dimostrare che non siamo terzi in classifica e nelle prime otto di Champions per caso. Daje Roma!

Beyond the disappointment of losing heavily at the Camp Nou, which implies a too optimistic attitude before the match, let me say: what a great game! The two teams faced off against each other, attacking both without exclusively defensive tactics. Perhaps the only exception was a cage around Messi, which worked. The others, however, remained too free, we were fascinated by the Camp Nou and on the first two goals we got caught up in frenzy and nervousness. Perhaps, as I heard on twitter from @pruzzobomber, the two own goals are mainly a consequence of too much fear that, although wrong, it is something completely understandable against the blaugrana at their home. I don’t even want to complain about the 2 penalties (clears!), which have not been whistled. This type of match (better if won) does not mean only important European experience, but also an international reputation that we still have to conquer not only with the referee, but also with this kind of opponent. The rest has done their technique, their teamwork and some unfortunate incidents that have made the second leg to the limit of prohibitive. Overall we played well. I want to be present and see as it goes with the Ninja in the field and the fury of the Olimpico (game that we will prepare in due course). Now mind to Fiorentina with the desire to prove that we are not third in the standings and in the first eight of the Champions by chance. Daje Roma!
