Il punto della situazione. The point of the situation.

La Roma chiude questo periodo di ottobre con 4 vittorie, 1 pareggio e 2 sconfitte. Normalmente non sarebbe stato un quadro molto positivo, se non  ci  fossero state le ultime 4 vittorie consecutive, che in prospettiva ci fanno sperare bene-

Sarebbe stupido adesso parlare di scudetto con la classifica attuale e con la fantastica Juventus con 8 vittorie consecutive in campionato (e 2 in Champions), che si trova a +10 rispetto a noi. In ogni caso sia in Campionato che in Champions, per le nostre qualità tecniche, possiamo e dobbiamo puntare al massimo, senza aver paura di nessuno (compreso il Real Madrid), senza sottovalutare nessuno (compreso il CSKA Mosca). In Campionato poniamoci come obiettivo minimo la zona Champions. In Champions non pongo obiettivi minimi perché potrebbe portare ad un certo punto del percorso un senso di soddisfazione sbagliato in una competizione dove rimane nella storia solo chi porta a casa la Coppa.

Di Francesco ha fatto la scelta giusta con il 4231. E’ la formazione più affidabile dal punto di vista difensivo e offensivo. Poi può essere sfruttata o per attaccare di più o per difendere di più a seconda delle esigenze della partita e degli attori in campo. Con l’Empoli ad esempio ad un certo punto siamo passati al 3412 e siamo stati un po’ in confusione per il cambio di formazione, invece potevamo giocare ancora con il 4231 con giocatori più abituati a difendere con Santon terzino destro, Juan Jesus terzino sinistro e Florenzi attaccante destro. Nella immagine sopra, ho voluto anche mettere Riccardi in prima squadra. Il giovane centrocampista sta giocando bene soprattutto a livello offensivo sia con la Roma Primavera che con la Nazionale Italiana Under 19, anche segnando spesso. Penso che meriti una chance in prima squadra.

Nelle ultime partite abbiamo finalmente trovato la strada giusta, sia a livello tattico che a livello di grinta in campo (finalmente non siamo troppo passivi in fase difensiva e mettiamo il piede nei contrasti), ma la regola giusta per migliorare in questo cammino è: lavoro, lavoro, lavoro. Così potremo oliare i meccanismi tattici e umani fondamentali per il concetto di squadra in ogni campo, compreso il calcio.

Voglio congratularmi con l’Italia per l’ottima vittoria in Polonia (0-1). Abbiamo giocato bene e meritato di vincere. A livello di gioco si vede un netto miglioramento con Mancini rispetto alla gestione-Ventura, che intanto è andato ad allenare il Chievo. Secondo me, è giusto continuare a giocare con Insigne falso-9. Per quanto riguarda le nazionali, voglio sottolineare anche la doppietta di Dzeko contro l’Irlanda del Nord e anche le buone prestazioni di Schick. Siamo tutti in ottima salute. Andiamoci in prendere in campo ciò che meritiamo.

Ora ci aspettano 6 partite tra fine ottobre e inizio novembre. Le partite più difficile sono le due trasferte a Napoli e a Firenze, ma per rispetto alle nostre qualità tecniche e alle nostre ambizioni, possiamo e dobbiamo scendere in campo sempre per vincere. Daje Roma!

In the Championship, let’s set the Champions League area as the minimum goal. In the Champions League I do not set minimum goals because it could lead to a certain point of the path a sense of wrong satisfaction in a competition where only those who take home the Cup remain in history.

Di Francesco made the right choice with the 4231. It is the most reliable formation from the defensive and offensive point of view. Then it can be exploited or to attack more or to defend more according to the needs of the match and the players in the field. I want to congratulate Italy on their excellent win in Poland (0-1). We played well and deserved to win.
