Il Napoli gioca con un 442, anche se, quando si accentra Zielinski, potrebbe sembrare un 433.

La costruzione di gioco. Hamsik è il playmaker, ma si inserisce anche in fase offensiva, è soprattutto pericoloso col tiro da fuori. In fase di impostazione, Hamsik non è perfetto, se marcato,possono impostare i difensori centrali. Albiol non è ottimo in fase difensiva e soffre il pressing. Koulibaly è più bravo dello spagnolo in fase difensiva. E’ molto migliorato nell’impostazione. Mario Rui (terzino sinistro) è più propositivo in fase offensiva di Hysaj. Entrambi possono andare in difficoltà se attaccati soprattutto Mario Rui (nostra vecchia conoscenza). Il gioco si sviluppa soprattutto sulla sinistra con il portoghese.

La loro fase offensiva. Allan e Zielinski portano spesso palla dalla difesa all’attacco poi o fanno l’assist per gli attaccanti, o provano un triangolo (soprattutto Allan), o tirano da fuori (soprattutto Zielinski). Come ala sinistra, il polacco è soprattutto portato ad accentrarsi. Callejon è forte soprattutto come ala destra negli inserimenti senza palla sui cross da sinistra. In questo caso, il nostro terzino sinistro non deve perderlo d’occhio. Come ala destra, la sua specialità è il cross. Insigne è forte come seconda punta con Milik o Mertens in un 442,  Mertens è veloce e dribblomane, può aiutare in fase di possesso. Milik è più alto, forte di testa Insigne è pericoloso sia quando si accentra con la palla e tira a giro di destro, sia quando si inserisce senza palla sempre al centro. 

Nel complesso, fanno il pressing in modo collettivo. In questa occasione sono molto pericolosi. Se siamo in difficoltà, possiamo cercare anche il lancio lungo per Dzeko, meglio del cambio di gioco. Superato il pressing, possiamo prenderli in contropiede.
