L’avversario di lunedì: il Virtus Entella. The opponent of monday: the Virtus Entella (Coppa Italia).

Al centro del Golfo di Tigullo, Chiavari, piccolo borgo antico e città del Virtus Entella, da il benvenuto al mare con le piccole vie medievali da attraversare in ciavatte per raggiungere la spiaggia sassosa, fare il bagno e poi mangiare nei ristoranti tutti tipici: la focaccia, le linguine al pesto e la frittura di pesce fresco.

La Virtus Entella ha lottato giustamente a livello giuridico per aver riconosciuto il diritto di partecipare alla Serie B. Dopo una guerra lunga costellata da battaglie vinte e battaglie perse, alla fine ha dovuto accettare la Serie C. D’altronde grazie al maggior numero di tifosi, secondo la FIGC, avevano più diritto Catania e Siena, senza considerare i migliori meriti sportivi di Pro Vercelli, Virtus Entella e Ternana, che dovevano prendere il posto del Bari, del Cesena e dell’Avellino, in quanto erano le retrocesse dalla serie B. Mi pare un discorso logico che se c’è da sostituire una squadra di Serie B, si scelga la migliore retrocessa, come quando si deve sostituire una promossa dalla Serie C, si scelga la migliore esclusa della stessa categoria. Mi pare un discorso logico. Invece si da molta importanza al bacino d’utenza che dava ragione a Catania e Siena (nonostante non dovessero sostituire una promossa dalla Serie C, ma una retrocessa dalla Serie B). Questo è un discorso ingiusto perché così i piccoli club non possono mai costruire un fascino per migliorare nei successi sportivi e aumentare i tifosi. Se la Roma dovesse essere retrocessa in Serie B, non è giusto che venga ripescata se dovesse sostituire una promossa dalla Serie B (non ci sarebbe la controprova della migliore performance, visto che facevano parte di due campionati diversi, al limite si potrebbe decidere con uno spareggio). Tra valori economici e valori sportivi, scelgo in ogni caso sempre questi ultimi. Sotto questo aspetto,, sono molto contento del successo del Sassuolo che è costato molti sacrifici al suo proprietario Squinzi, che ha un bellissimo stadio a Reggio Emilia come il Mapei Stadium, di cui ha usufruito anche l’Atalanta per l’Europa League, e che sicuramente sta aumentando il numero dei tifosi nell’Emilia, anche per la contemporanea caduta in disgrazia della Reggiana, che il Sassuolo ha sfruttato, ma poi è riuscita e sta riuscendo a rappresentare quella parte d’Italia in modo molto degno. Alla fine, la Lega di B ha deciso di non ripescare nessun club, in modo da togliersi da questa situazione complessa e per dividere la torta appetitosa dei diritti tv in meno squadre. Il risultato è che i club, che lottavano legalmente per i loro diritti, hanno dovuto cominciare il Campionato di Serie C in ritardo con preparazioni estive approssimative e calendario più congestionato (ancora a gennaio Virtus Entella, Ternana e Pro Vercelli hanno meno partite degli altri club della stessa categoria). D’altro canto anche la Serie B è diventato un torneo abbastanza irregolare (se non sotto l’aspetto sportivo, sicuramente sotto l’aspetto della struttura del calendario) con il fatto che con 19 squadre sono previsti due turni di riposo per ogni squadra

La Virtus Entella è attualmente sesta nel girone A della Serie C con due partite in meno rispetto la maggioranza delle squadre, loro 18 e gli altri 20. Colgo l’occasione per fare i complimenti al Pro Vercelli che, con la stessa situazione dei liguri biancocelesti e con 19 partite giocate, è prima nello stesso girone.

Boscaglia schiera il 4312 di solito, con un atteggiamento nelle partite di campionato di dominio del campo. Anche se avessero lo stesso atteggiamento contro di noi (ma ne dubito) per maggiore qualità tecnica possiamo dominare la partita e giocare soprattutto nella loro metà campo. Quindi, loro, come penso e come ho disegnato l’immagine, daranno molta attenzione alla fase difensive per poi ripartire in contropiede, anche se Caturano e Dany Mota sono giocatori possenti, molto alti, ma un po’ lenti. In campana perché giocano col piede invertito rispetto al lato in cui giocano. Caturano gioca specialmente sulla destra, ma è piede sinistro, e Dany Mota gioca principalmente sulla sinistra, ma è piede destro Ci sono altri 2 giocatore da tenere d’occhio. Baroni (ex-primavera della Fiorentina), centrale difensivo molto giovane, con molta qualità nel controllo palla, figlio dell’attuale allenatore del Frosinone, che giocava nello stesso ruolo e annovera nella sua bacheca anche la promozione dalla Serie B col Benevento. Paolucci (ex-Ternana), pupillo di Boscaglia, playmaker della squadra, primo costruttore di gioco e che ha la chiavi del centrocampo (succede spesso anche nella pallavolo che l’alzatore, il costruttore di gioco in questo sport, sia il pupillo dell’allenatore e il giocatore con cui parla di più nei time out).

Nella situazione congiunturale (senza nessuna speranza di scudetto) e secondo la bacheca della Roma (con 9 Coppa Italia vinte), non possiamo sottovalutare il torneo. Può essere l’occasione per rilanciare giocatori dopo infortuni (come Lorenzo Pellegrini che probabilmente giocherà come mediano). In ogni caso è una partita ampiamente alla nostra portata e che possiamo vincere anche facilmente, ma solo se metteremo in campo il nostro meglio, con la voglia di dimostrare buona forma anche alle altre pretendenti per l’Europa in Serie A e il nostro prossimo avversario di Champions, il Porto. Daje Roma!

This is an unfair speech because so small clubs can never build a charm to improve in sporting achievements and increase the fans. If Roma were to be relegated to Serie B, it is not right to be fished out if it were to replace a promoted by Serie B (there would be no counter-evidence of the best performance, since they were part of two different championships, at most you could decide with a playoff). Between economic values and sporting values, I always choose these last ones. In this respect, I am very happy with the success of Sassuolo which has cost many sacrifices to its owner Squinzi, which has a beautiful stadium in Reggio Emilia like the Mapei Stadium, which also benefited by Atalanta for the Europa League, and that surely the number of fans in Emilia is increasing, also due to the contemporary disgraced fall of Reggiana, which Sassuolo has exploited, but has succeeded and is succeeding in representing that part of Italy in a very worthy way. The result is that the clubs, which legally fought for their rights, had to start lately Serie C Championship with approximate summer preparations and more congested calendar (still in January Virtus Entella, Ternana and Pro Vercelli have fewer games than the other clubs in the same category). On the other hand also the Serie B has become a fairly irregular tournament (if not under the sporty aspect, certainly in terms of the structure of the calendar) with the fact that with 19 teams are scheduled two rest periods for each team.

Virtus Entella is currently sixth in group A of Serie C with two games less than most of the teams, their 18 and the other 20. I take this opportunity to congratulate Pro Vercelli that, with the same situation of the Ligurian Biancocelesti and with 19 games played, it is first in the same group.

Boscaglia formation is the 4312 usually, with an attitude in the league of game’s domain. Even if they had the same attitude against us (but I doubt it) for more technical quality we can dominate the game and play especially in their half of the field. So, they, as I think and how I drawn the image, will pay attention to the defensive phase and then start again on the break, even if Caturano and Dany Mota are powerful players, very tall, but a bit ‘slow. IWe must pay attention to the inverted foot compared to the side in which they play. Caturano plays especially on the right, but he is left foot, and Dany Mota plays mainly on the left, but he is right foot. There are 2 other players to watch. Baroni (ex-Fiorentina under-19), a very young central defender, with a lot of quality in the ball control, son of the current Frosinone coach, who played in the same role and also includes in his showcase the promotion from Serie B with Benevento. In this moment (without any hope of scudetto) and according to the Roma showcase (with 9 Coppa Italia won), we can’t underestimate the tournament. It can be an opportunity to re-launch players after injuries (like Lorenzo Pellegrini who will probably play as a central midfielder). Anyway, it is a game widely within our reach and we can also win easily, but only if we put our best in the field, with the desire to demonstrate good shape to the other suitors for Europe in Serie A and our next opponent of Champions, the Porto.
