Mettendosi in punta di piedi a Bergamo alta, un gigante potrebbe vedere oltre le Alpi, la Svizzera. Eredi dei galli, dei garibaldini. E’ terra di frontiera, aspra, fredda, di tabarro, di gente combattiva, abituata a fare la guerre che durante la sera è capace di riscaldarsi i piedi davanti al camino, mangiando la polenta cucinata in tanti modi (con gli osei, concia con i formaggi o con salsiccia e sugo di pomodoro). Se non avete possibilità e tempo per visitare questi luoghi, vi consiglio di vedere il capolavoro di Ermanno Olmi: L’albero degli zoccoli. L’asprezza della terra e della gente è particolarmente coriacea per noi romanisti, visti come il simbolo della Capitale e del potere che li ha sottomessi (o almeno ha tentato di). Giocano soprattutto con le ripartenze e specialmente sulle fasce, sviluppando il gioco soprattutto con la catena di sinistra (Mancini-Castagne-Gomez), ma anche sulla catena di destra (Toloi-Hateboer-Ilicic). Zapata è il giocatore più in forma, pericoloso nei contropiedi, sul cross dalla fascia e per le sponde per i centrocampisti che attaccano senza palla. Gomez è pericoloso principalmente quando dialoga con Castagne sulla sinistra. In questo caso l’azione si sviluppa con un cross: bisogna stare concentrati su Zapata e Hateboer (l’ala destra). Hateboer è leggermente più offensivo di Castagne, ma solo leggermente. Toloi (centrale difensivo destro) non è molto in forma e può sbagliare, specialmente se pressato. De Roon è il playmaker, mentre Pasalic è più bravo ad attaccare anche con le sponde di Zapata. I due attaccanti esterni hanno il piede invertito. Ilicic è molto bravo con dai e vai corti.
