Il playmaker (o mediano) è il giocatore chiave del gioco di Liverani. Gestisce gli spazi in fase di pressing, difensiva e in fase d’attacco. Se sta troppo in difesa, facciamo possesso, se va in pressing, scavalchiamolo. Potrebbe essere o Petriccione o Tachtsidis. Petriccione è più bravo nella fase difensiva. In questi ultimi due casi loro marcano a zona, quindi è meglio se crossiamo sul secondo palo, ma ricordiamoci che marchiamo a zona anche noi. Sarà una sfida nella sfida tra Pau Lopez e Gabriel a chi esce dalla porta meglio.
