La Roma in questo ciclo di 7 partite di ottobre/novembre è andata peggio (3v 2p 2s) rispetto al ciclo di settembre/ottobre (4-2-1). Bisogna tener conto delle avversarie più difficili (Milan, Napoli e Borussia M’gladbach) e dei tanti infortunati che hanno costretto la squadra ad un tour de force, arrivando stanchi alle ultime partite. Il rientro di Mkhitaryan e Pellegrini ci permettono una rotazione più larga. Ad esempio, farei giocare Under col Brescia per poi evitargli l’antipatica (per vari motivi) trasferta di Istanbul, che nell’economia della stagione diventa fondamentale e dobbiamo vincerla.

In queste rotazioni potrebbe rientrare pure Florenzi, anche se non sembra questo l’andazzo. L’ultima partita di Florenzi è stata l’andata col ‘gladbach conclusa con quel gol mangiato all’ultimo minuto precedente il rigore di Stindl. E’ questo il motivo della sua esclusione? Avrà litigato con Fonseca? Oppure è già stato promesso ad un’altra squadra (probabilmente l’Inter) e loro vogliono averlo integro? Le possibilità sono tante. Noi possiamo fare solo supposizioni. Florenzi come ala destra nel 352 di Conte si troverebbe benissimo, meglio che come terzino destro nel 4231 di Fonseca. Conte non ha mai nascosto di volerlo e ultimamente sta battendo molto sul tasto che gli mancano giocatori. Poi la Roma prima di giugno deve rientrare di 100 mln. Fare cassa e una grande plusvalenza con un giocatore della cantera sarebbe ossigeno per i nostri conti. A me personalmente dispiacerebbe perché mi piace come giocatore e ancora di più come uomo (indimenticabile l’abbraccio alla nonna). Anche nel 4231 di Fonseca come attaccante destro potrebbe essere una buona opzione, soprattutto come assistman di Dzeko. In ogni caso, queste sono sempre supposizioni, sarà decisivo vedere se sarà schierato in questo ciclo di novembre/dicembre. Nel caso non fosse così, il giocatore (ahimè!) è già promesso ad un’altra squadra, probabilmente l’Inter.

Come ho già scritto, possiamo già mettere in conto che a giugno la Roma dovrà incassare 100 mln. Chi venderemo? Chi rimarrà? A parte il discorso di Florenzi che abbiamo già affrontato, è una domanda inutile al momento. Dobbiamo comunque pensare a raggiungere la zona-Champions e continuare il percorso in Europa League per evitare altre cessioni costose in termini tecnici e di affetto. Entrambe le sfide sono ancora tutte da conquistare. Sono sfide alla portata. Abbiamo giustificato parzialmente il ciclo non esaltante tra ottobre e novembre. Abbiamo un credito con la fortuna e, anche se la fortuna ha tutto il diritto di fare come cazzo le pare, alla fine capita anche da queste parti e, con la squadra forte che ci ritroviamo, potrebbe portare grandi soddisfazioni.

In Europa, la situazione non è buona per molte italiane. La Lazio sta con un piede fuori dall’Europa League. Deve vincere sempre e rivolgersi a qualche scaramanzia potente per la partita del Cluj col Celtic in Romania. L’Atalanta è un’ottima squadra, ma in Europa a parte l’ultimo pareggio col City, ha perso con Shakhtar e Dinamo Zagabria. Probabilmente la troveremo nei sedicesimi di Europa League, anche se come italiano le auguro di continuare il cammino in Champions e una speranza è giusto che la coltivi, visto che il City vuole sempre vincere. Anche l’Inter ha poche speranze di rimanere in CL. Per loro, è decisiva la sfida in casa col Barcellona. Napoli e Juventus andranno agli ottavi di CL, ma mentre la Juventus probabilmente ci arriverà come prima in classifica, apparecchiandosi un ottavo alla portata, il Napoli arriverà secondo e non sta vivendo un bel periodo a livello di ambiente.

Se i club non hanno una situazione facile (compresi noi), gli Azzurri hanno già ottenuto il pass per gli Europei 2020, dove, almeno nel girone, giocheremo in casa. Tiferemo l’Italia, ma terremo un occhio benevolo anche per Dzeko in Bosnia-Italia e per gli altri romanisti impegnati con le nazionali.

Insomma per molti aspetti, non è il momento di mollare. Sembra che la sfortuna (soprattutto degli infortunati) sia alle spalle. Abbiamo una buona e giovane squadra e un buon allenatore. Il futuro è nostro. Daje Roma!

In Europe, the situation is not good for many italian clubs. Lazio is with one foot out of the Europa League. He must always win and turn to some powerful superstition for the Cluj game with Celtic in Romania.
