Roma – Juve 1-2

Juve molto scarsa, ma Roma più scarsa ancora. Errori grossolani da entrambe le parti. Ha perso la squadra che ha sbagliato di più e più gravemente. Probabilmente non c’era il rigore per loro, c’era rigore per fallo di mano di Rabiot (molto simile nella dinamica a quella di Smalling) e l’espulsione di Cuadrado per doppia ammonizione, ma la Roma aveva tutte le possibilità negli ultimi venti minuti per pareggiare la partita. Per questo, non sono contento anche se una sconfitta con la Juve era facilmente pronosticabile (club forte sul campo e in politica).

Stiamo un po’ giù di forma, ma il problema non è la condizione fisica, ma le scelte e la performance (nel senso tecnico) vicino alla porta. Tiriamo poco (specialmente Dzeko). Quando tiriamo, siamo poco precisi forse perché poco confidenti nei nostri mezzi. Anche i cross sono spesso sbagliati e non c’è mai l’uomo sul secondo palo. Invece la difesa mi ha dato abbastanza sicurezza (a parte sulla punizione del gol dello 0-1, quando siamo stati poco concentrati su Demiral). A volte rischiamo troppo in fase di costruzione dal basso (da un errore in costruzione è poi scaturito il rigore dello 0-2 di Ronaldo). Se non siamo sicuri, a partire da Pau Lopez, lanciamo lungo.

Mi è piaciuta molto la Curva Sud per tutta la partita, specialmente quando nel secondo tempo ha cantato incessantemente “Camminerò insieme a te”. Abbiamo caricato bene la squadra che ha poi guadagnato il rigore segnato da Perotti (1-2). La Roma poi è cresciuta in modo troppo lento e alla fine non c’era più tempo. Non è la prima volta che rimprovero la Roma di provarci troppo tardi. Anche oggi l’analisi è questa. Troppo poco. Troppo tardi.

Mi dispiace poi vedere una partita come Roma-Juve, con la Juve in completo bianco e la Roma in completo blu (direbbe Christian De Sica “Ma che è sta cafonata?!”).

Sinceramente non vedo nel campionato italiano squadre molto più forti della Roma, come nell’anno scorso almeno Atalanta, Napoli e Juventus lo erano. L’Atalanta è la squadra più in forma, ma è ancora molto discontinua. Allo stesso modo, l’Inter è stanca e, se non comprerà due o tre giocatori di alto livello, non vincerà lo scudetto. La Lazio nelle ultime due partite è sembrata più fortunata che forte. Se poi vincerà sempre dopo l’80esimo minuto, vincerà il campionato meritatamente, ma razionalmente è molto difficile che possa succedere. Guardando le altre e partendo dal presupposto che possiamo e dobbiamo giocare meglio, abbiamo carte buone per giocarcela con tutte, poi alla fine faremo i conti. Anche dal blog, faccio i miei auguri di anticipata guarigione per Nicolò Zaniolo, ma pretendo da Cengiz e Lorenzo prestazioni migliori di quella di ieri (e lo dovrebbero pretendere anche loro per rispetto delle loro ambizioni e delle loro qualità tecniche). Ora ci vuole grande determinazione, concretezza e convinzione nei propri mezzi contro il Parma per sfondarli di brutto. Daje Roma!

Instead, the defense gave me enough confidence (apart from the free kick of the 0-1 goal, when we were not very focused on Demiral). Sometimes we risk too much in the construction phase from below (from an error in construction came the penalty of 0-2 from Ronaldo). If we are not sure, starting from Pau Lopez, we throw along.

I really liked the Curva Sud for the whole game, especially when in the second half he sang incessantly “Camminerò insieme a te”. It is not the first time that I reproach Roma for trying too late. Even today, the analysis is this. Too little. Too late.

I am also sorry to see a match like Roma-Juve, with Juventus in a white suit and Roma in a blue suit (Christian De Sica would say “Che è sta cafonata?!” that means “What the hell is this?”).

Honestly, I don’t see much stronger teams than Roma in the Italian championship, as at least Atalanta, Napoli and Juventus in the past year. Atalanta is the most fit team, but it is still very discontinuous. Likewise, Inter are tired and, if they don’t buy two or three high-level players, they won’t win the league title. Lazio in the last two games seemed luckier than strong. If he always wins after the 80th minute, he will win the championship deservedly, but rationally it is very difficult that it can happen. Looking at the others and starting from the assumption that we can and must play better, we have good cards to play with all of them, then in the end we will do the math. Also from the blog, I send my best wishes for an early recovery for Nicolò Zaniolo, but I expect better performances from Cengiz and Lorenzo than yesterday (and they too should expect it out of respect for their ambitions and their technical qualities). Now it takes great determination, concreteness and conviction in their means against Parma to break them badly. Daje Roma!
