Roma – Chelsea 3-0

La Roma batte il Chelsea, dominando dal primo minuto all’ultimo, in una partita che anche i giornali inglesi non esitano a definire una lezione di calcio. La Roma di Di Francesco gioca in modo molto diverso da quella di Spalletti: meno pressing alto, migliore difesa, migliore costruzione di gioco, migliore risultati in Europa. Certo se il pressing fosse più coordinato e puntuale, potremmo costruire più occasioni facili, ma il centrocampo non troppo offensivo significa spesso una diga preventiva utile a difendere. La costruzione di gioco riesce molto bene, quando gli altri vengono a pressarci, noi siamo bravi a superare la prima linea e ad attaccare in azioni di pseudo-contropiede. Il Chelsea si è rivelato un mostro di cartone. Superata la paura nel prepartita, l’abbiamo messo al tappeto per 3 volte e forse meritavamo anche un risultato più largo.  Di Francesco ha dato un ulteriore conferma della sua buona tradizione europea, di cui aveva già dato prova col Sassuolo. Sta trasmettendo questa filosofia europeista anche ai nostri beniamini. La Roma sta raggiungendo risultati incredibili. E’ prima in un girone, in cui al sorteggio con Atletico Madrid e Chelsea, tutti ci davano per terzi con distacco. Invece possiamo (e dobbiamo) puntare al primo posto, anche perchè il Qarabag ha pareggiato anche al Wanda Metropolitano con l’Atletico Madrid (1-1). Come ha detto il nostro direttore sportivo: nulla è facile, nulla è impossibile come battere i colchoneros a casa loro, per ipotecare anche il primo posto. Ieri i migliori sono stati ElSha (autore di due splendidi gol, soprattutto il primo), Perotti (bellissimo anche il suo gol), Florenzi, Juan Jesus e Fazio. In generale, siamo stati bravi tutti.  L’Italia in Europa è in una buona posizione. La squadra più in difficoltà è il Napoli, al quale auguriamo di trovare il bel gioco e la vittoria anche oggi col City e non solo in campionato. Le squadre in Europa League (Milan, Lazio e Atalanta) si avviano verso i sedicesimi, dove dovrebbero arrivare come teste di serie, la Roma e la Juve si sono apparecchiate la qualificazione agli ottavi e noi possiamo e dobbiamo puntare al primo posto nel girone. Saranno decisivi i mesi di primavera per dare un giudizio obiettivo sulle italiane in Europa, sia per la natura del torneo che diventerà a eliminazione diretta, sia perchè resteranno solo le  squadre più forti.  Ora testa alla Fiorentina: avversario che ha cambiato molto nell’ultimo mercato, ma è sempre temibile soprattutto in casa. Sarà una partita difficile, ma alla nostra portata. Daje Roma!
