Fiorentina – Roma 1-4

Dopo i primi minuti di studio, la Roma prende il pallino del gioco. Dopo un lungo possesso, Pellegrini uccella il fuorigioco della Fiorentina, servendo Zaniolo, che passa a Dzeko per il gol dello 0-1. Dopo un minuto, su una delle tante discese di Zaniolo, c’è fallo al limite dell’area e Kolarov realizza ottimamente. 0-2. La Roma si ferma e la Fiorentina gestisce il gioco, finchè arriva l’inserimento senza palla di Badelj, che segna davanti a Pau Lopez. 1-2. Male la difesa in questo caso: Kolarov si abbassa troppo e poi non è veloce a fare la tattica del fuorigioco, Smalling non va a contrastare il viola e lo lascia tirare in porta. La Fiorentina fiuta l’occasione per pareggiare, ma la Roma rimane calma e continua col suo spartito. Poi arriva l’1-3: doppio scambio Pellegrini-Dzeko-Pellegrini e l’uomo dell’ultimo passaggio, mette dentro con un colpo da biliardo, appoggiando la palla al palo. La partita è finita, ma c’è tempo anche per il gol di Zaniolo, con la Fiorentina che pressa e noi che usciamo palla al piede e poi troviamo spazi immensi per il nostro attaccante di Massa, romanista di adozione. 1-4.

In questa partita voglio sottolineare la partita dei due centrali difensivi (Mancini-Smalling). Mai una sbavatura. Sempre perfetti a coprire. Paradossalmente, mi sento più sicuro quando ci sono solo loro due in difesa che con la difesa a 4. Voglio sottolineare anche la grande prestazione di quel grande recupera palloni che è Diawara (il giocatore che ci è mancato lo scorso anno).

Per la Fiorentina e Montella, è meglio così. Come in una relazione amorosa, se le cose non vanno, meglio chiudere prima, che allungare l’agonia. Paradossalmente, la sconfitta di venerdì è stata una fortuna. La Fiorentina può ripartire con un nuovo allenatore, magari dandogli quel centravanti di esperienza, che può far crescere anche Vlahovic con calma. Montella può ripartire da zero con una nuova squadra, magari dopo un periodo di riflessione sull’evoluzione del calcio nell’ultimo periodo. Il rapporto è nato male ed è continuato peggio. Anzi forse la decisione dell’esonero arriva fin troppo tardi. Col senno di poi, il lavoro di Pioli non era tutto da buttare.

Adesso avremo tempo per i bilanci (intanto buon Natale romanista). Eviterei di far pesare al club la vittoria della Supercoppa Italiana da parte della Lazio (Lazio-Juventus 3-1), intanto perché è frutto dello scorso anno in cui, per diversi motivi tutti spiegati in questo blog, non eravamo stati sufficienti, e poi perché veramente noi ci potevamo fare ben poco. Complimenti alla Lazio. Per quanto riguarda la Juventus, viene rafforzata la mia convinzione che mai come quest’anno sono battibili e superabili. Noi dobbiamo usare questa partita, che ci riguarda solo collateralmente, come motivo per incentivare la voglia di vincere del club Sangue e Oro. Mai come quest’anno vedo nella Roma qualità tecniche ed ambizioni per portare a casa un trofeo. Possiamo e dobbiamo vincere. Daje Roma!
