SPAL – Roma 1-6

Much ado for nothing. The only reason for the controversy over Zaniolo was the desperate courtship of the Northern teams who want to lower the striker's price (repeatedly declared non-transferable by Rome). There was no fight and, if there was a discussion, it is all in the normalcy of a dressing room where we speak clearly, but which is basically serene. Roma have a dressing room where the team is building friendships between talented and personality young players.

Roma must build its future on Zaniolo and beyond. Even on Mancini, all too underrated by the fans, but he is an excellent defender and in perspective one of the strongest players in the world as (perhaps) Nicolò already is.

Roma immediately subdued SPAL, taking the lead with Kalinic's goal (0-1). Then we paid for the bad form of Pau Lopez who was not well and on several occasions he came out of the door in a rash way. For an exit-not exit of Lopez, we concedeed the goal of Cerri (1-1). We are good at continuing with our plan: pressing and attack. Carlito Perez's goal is beautiful (1-2). Then comes the goal of Kolarov (1-3), excellent in general in performance, especially in building. The splendid and surprising double by Brunetto (1-5) and the beautiful ride by Zaniolo (1-6) which thus marks the end of a controversy that at this point seems more like bullshit.

We played well and deserved to win, but the SPAL, now relegated, was not very concentrated and we must not give up because Milan continues to run. We continue to stay on the piece. Let's focus on Fiorentina which is in excellent shape. We can and must win. Daje Roma!
