Udinese – Roma 0-1

The worst game played by Roma so far. We usually played well in the first half. This time we did not play well, neither first half nor second half, also due to an excellent performance by Udinese. The first win of the season came thanks to a jewel from Pedro.

Pedro was the man of the match. Ibanez, Pellegrini, Spinazzola and Santon also played well. The defense held up well and we showed great ability to suffer without giving in. In the last few minutes there is no need to build from behind, but you can also throw long or throw the ball into the stands. It might seem bad to say such a thing, but even then you earn 3 points which will then be important for the final standings.

At the moment the first in the standings are Milan and the amazing Atalanta. In terms of standings and play, we need to keep an eye on Atalanta’s path to do better than them, which could mean winning the Scudetto (impossible for the moment both in terms of play and skill).

In the Europa League we are in Group A with Young Boys, Cluj and CSKA Sofia. We can and must aim for first place in the group.
