It had become a prohibitive mission first of all due to the result of the first leg (6-2 Man Utd) and then because we still have many injuries. Moreover, in the first half Cavani's goal arrived in which he was good at staying in line with Ibanez. In the second half, Roma overturned at least the result of the second leg with goals from Dzeko and Cristante (2-1), then Cavani's equalizer, always with an offside line from Roma too happy (2-2) and finally the goal from Zalewski (3-2).

The best note of the match was the good performance of Zalewski and Darboe. They were able to play very well against a noble opponent like Man Utd. Zalewski celebrated his debut with a goal, but mainly impressed Darboe's performance: confident in the field, with good ball recoveries, clean passes, precise long balls to find the free man on the weak side, but above all intelligence to cover the left side that too often Brunetto left free. But even the "old" players played well like Cristante, Mancini, Karsdorp, Mkhi, Pedro and Dzeko.

As fans we are still confused by the announcement of Mourinho as the next Roma coach, but the players understood that they had to show good qualities and be ready for the most ambitious challenges of the next few years. We too have to work on ourselves. Above all on balance, without depressing us or exalting us too much.
