Roma – Verona 3-1

Roma won in a deserved and easy way a game on very difficult paper. Verona had excellent results with the top of the class and seemed ready for the challenge yesterday as well. Roma immediately had to change the central defensive player Chris Smalling with Marash Kumbulla, moving Ibanez to the center of the defense. Shortly after, Verona also prepared a change in defense: Lovato for Dawidowicz. But the change is not made and there was a bit of confusion. Roma took advantage of it and quickly went 3-0 with excellent goals from Mancini, Mkhi and Borjita.

In the second half, Roma were in control, conceding only Colley's goal, who has great potential in both speed and physique. Silvestri was good at parrying several shots of ours, particularly with his feet. The best of Roma were Borjita, Mkhitaryan (both unleashed), Mancini, Spina and Veretout, who only missed the goal. The defense held up well, thanks above all to Ibanez's advances. Overall, we played an excellent match.

We knew that should a difficult game and we deserved to win. The first half was fantastic. Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Daje Roma!
