Roma – Torino 3-0

E’ una vittoria importante per la classifica (aspettando domani Cagliari-Lazio e Inter-Napoli), ma soprattutto per aver dato continuità di vittoria  (e per metà partita di personalità) dopo l’impresa del San Paolo. Abbiamo giocato male tutti nel primo tempo e bene tutti nel secondo. Hanno segnato Manolas (su ottimo cross di Florenzi), De Rossi (gol molto significativo per quanto è stato colpito dal lutto per Astori) e Pellegrini (in un ottimo contropiede con assist del Ninja). Nel postpartita, la mossa tattica decisiva è stata spostare Nainggolan come centrocampista avanzato nel secondo tempo. Il premio di migliore in campo lo voglio assegnare a Alisson. E’ un premio a una stagione, per ora, bellissima e anche ieri è stato decisivo in un paio di occasioni (su tiro di Iago Falque e Acquah). Questo premio deve essere uno sprono a giocare sempre meglio e non a essere soddisfatto. La Roma è come Roma. La città porta tanto disagio: perchè la metro ha solo 2,5 linee e spesso malfunzionanti, basta un temporale e le strade si riempiono di buche, gli autobus sono sempre pieni allo sfinimento, i taxi costano tanto anche perchè spesso non ci sono alternative, in poche zone della città si fa la raccolta differenziata e spesso non è fatta bene dai nostri concittadini e in generale i romani sono anche troppo critici, senza comportarsi in modo civile o proporre soluzioni possibili. Eppure chi è nato o è venuto a vivere qui non riesce ad andarsene. E’ una città dove si respira cultura, storia e arte (c’è la Roma della Repubblica, quella dell’Impero, quella rinascimentale di Michelangelo, quella di Caravaggio, quella barocca di Bernini e Borromini e mi sarò dimenticato sicuramente qualcosa). Noi cittadini del 2000 dobbiamo cercare di essere all’altezza dell’importanza del passato della città in cui viviamo. Allo stesso modo, il club che porta il nome di Roma deve meritare questo nome per il significato storico: un nome che appassiona tutto il mondo. Per quanto riguarda il club, bisogna continuare sulla strada che abbiamo preso che è quella giusta, cercando la  costanza di personalità. Con lo Shakhtar serviranno personalità, intensità e concentrazione fino al fischio finale, aiutati dal supporto dei nostri splendidi tifosi. Daje Roma!

It’s an important victory for the standings (waiting for Cagliari-Lazio and Inter-Napoli tomorrow), but above all for having given continuity of victory (and for an half personality) after the San Paolo mission. We all played badly in the first half and all played well in the second. We scored with Manolas (on excellent cross from Florenzi), De Rossi (a very significant goal for how much he was struck by the loss for Astori) and Pellegrini (in a good counterattack with Ninja assist). In the postmatch, the decisive tactical move was to move Nainggolan as an advanced midfielder in the second half. I want to award the most valuable player of the match to Alisson. It’s a one-season award, for now, beautiful and even yesterday it was decisive in a couple of occasions (on Iago Falque and Acquah’s shot). This award must be a spur to play better and better and not to be satisfied. Roma is like Rome. The city is so uncomfortable: because the metro has only 2.5 lines and often malfunctioning, just a storm and the streets are filled with holes, buses are always full to exhaustion, taxis cost so much because often there are no alternatives, in a few areas of the city the collection is done and often is not done well by our fellow citizens and in general the Romans are too critical, without behaving in a civilized manner or proposing possible solutions. Yet who was born or came to live here can’t leave easily. It is a city where you can breathe culture, history and art (there is the Rome of the Republic, that of the Empire, the Renaissance of Michelangelo, that of Caravaggio, the baroque of Bernini and Borromini and I will certainly forgotten something). We citizens of the year 2000 must try to live up to the importance of the past of the city in which we live. Likewise, the club that bears the name of Rome must deserve this name for its historical significance: a name that the whole world loves. As for the club, we must continue on the path we have taken that is the right one, looking for constancy of personality. With Shakhtar will serve personality, intensity and concentration until the final whistle, helped by the support of our wonderful supporters. Daje Roma!
