Roma – Genoa 2-1

Pensavo che questa giornata potesse aumentare il nostro vantaggio, sia perchè l’Inter non è perfettamente in forma (anche se a volte come a San Siro col Cagliari gioca ottime partite (3-0)), sia perchè la Lazio andava a Firenze, che ha chiuso una serie di 6 vittorie con la rocambolesca sconfitta di ieri (3-4 per i biancocelesti). La nostra vittoria è stata difficile, sofferta e di misura. Abbiamo spesso sbagliato la scelta decisiva: tiravamo quando era meglio passare, passavamo quando era meglio tirare, tiravamo spesso con imprecisione, aldilà della bravura di Perin che è un ottimo portiere e diventerà sempre migliore. Adesso è il momento di saper dimostrare più fiducia nel compagno. Ieri qualche atto troppo egoista è stato deleterio. Altro aspetto su cui lavorare è la precisione al tiro. Ho già parlato dell’egoismo. A volte c’è anche troppa frenesia. Invece dobbiamo tirare in modo convinto, preciso, in modo non solo di prendere la porta, ma anche di segnare.  Il possesso palla è stato spesso fatto verso dietro,  sterile e stressante per i giocatori difensivi. O facciamo terminare il nostro possesso con il tiro (scelta che prediligo), o lavoriamo sulla concentrazione dei giocatori in fase di possesso (magari aumentando le sessioni di gioco a campo ridotto con passaggi a uno o due tocchi, come facciamo prima della partita).  Bene Cengiz (autore di un gol da punizione di Kolarov, situazione che possiamo ancora sfruttare). Non sono d’accordo con le critiche a Florenzi e Gonalons. Alessandro ha giocato nel ruolo di terzino destro, ruolo per antonomasia a cui non è richiesta il tiro in porta e il gol. Invece molte volte è arrivato davanti a Perin. Per questo la mia valutazione è positiva. Adesso deve lavorare sulla calma e la freddezza sotto porta, a volte più importante dell’ardore agonistico, in cui lui spesso eccede. Bene Dzeko, soprattutto come costruttore di gioco in attacco. L’importante era portare a casa i 3 punti e l’abbiamo fatto. In quest’anno, spesso, la Roma ha vinto di misura sia in campionato che in Champions; 1-0 al Crotone in casa, 1-0 al Bologna in casa, vittoria per gol fuori-casa con lo Shaktar e vittoria per il gol fuori-casa col Barcellona. Questo significa che abbiamo la personalità per vincere anche partite molto, molto difficili. Come se giocando a carte, l’avversario giochi 5 e noi giochiamo 6, giochi 1 e noi giochiamo 2, giochi 10 e noi giochiamo 11, riprendendo una metafora di Spalletti dell’anno scorso sulla Juventus. Comunque io preferirei vincere con più serenità e con più scarto questo tipo di partite anche per risparmiare energie nervose per la Champions. Ora testa alla Spal: altra partita fondamentale per la corsa Champions. Vincere a Ferrara ci può dare la mentalità giusta per andare a vincere all’Anfield Road. Daje Roma!
