Roma – Fiorentina 2-2

Abbiamo tanti difetti. Ce li portiamo da inizio stagione. A volte ci chiudiamo troppo da un lato e non troviamo più spazio, senza provare il cambio di gioco (fondamentali a Genova con la Sampdoria quando affronteremo una squadra molto pericolosa con il pressing alto). Altre volte sbagliamo passaggi molto semplici. Spesso, quando gli attaccanti pressano, i difensori rimangono troppo arretrati, permettendo facili contropiedi. Però, rispetto alla partita col Napoli, ho visto mettere il cuore e questo è un buon punto di partenza

A parte i discorsi sul contratto, per cui c’è la volontà sia della Roma che del giocatore di continuare l’avventura insieme, trovo fondamentale, come diceva tempo fa Capello, far giocare Zaniolo in posizione più centrale, più al centro del gioco. Giocando più centrale, gioca più palloni ed è più pericoloso.

Dobbiamo giocare più da squadra. Fidarci di più del compagno e dargli una possibilità in più. Per guadagnare in reputazione, è più importante per un giocatore fare un assist vincente, che un tiro sbagliato. Anche Dzeko deve sapere chiudere i triangoli con gli attaccanti esterni, senza girarsi e rallentare l’azione. La visione di gioco di Dzeko in attacco, oltre alla sua grande propensione al gol, possono essere decisive in queste ultime partite.

Dobbiamo provare più spesso il pressing, ma essere coordinati e collettivi in questa fase. Gli attaccanti devono saper pressare, ma anche i difensori devono tenere la difesa alta.

Nonostante gli ultimi risultati molto scarsi, siamo ancora in lotta per la zona Europa. Molto più probabilemnte approderemo all’Europa League, ma finchè la matematica non ce lo nega, dobbiamo lottare anche per la zona Champions. Questo significa che dobbiamo VINCERE, VINCERE E VINCERE e solo con tanto cuore e tanta testa ci potremo riuscire. Daje Roma!

We need to play more as a team. Trust more of the teammates and give him one more chance. To gain in reputation, it is more important for a player to make a winning assist than a wrong shot. Also Dzeko must know how to close the triangles with the side forwards, without turning around and slowing down the action. Dzeko’s playing vision in attack, in addition to his great propensity to goal, can be decisive in these last matches.

We need to try pressing more often, but be coordinated and collective at this stage. The attackers must know how to press, but even the defenders must hold the defense high.

Despite the recent very poor results, we are still fighting for the Europe zone. Much more likely we will arrive at the Europa League, but as long as the mathematics does not deny it, we must also fight for the Champions zone.
